Alishan Jingtai Dianlan Soft – Flue-Cured Soft Pack Cigarette
Alishan Jingtai Dianlan (Soft) (阿里山软景泰典蓝) is a Taiwanese-style flue-cured filter cigarette distinguished from the Hard version by its soft-pack construction and lower measured smoke yields.
The blend is based on selected Zimbabwean flue-cured tobacco leaf, with the leaf undergoing selection and natural aging before processing. The finished tobacco is prepared in a conventional fine cigarette cut and contained within a standard-diameter 84 mm cigarette.
Rather than using a menthol or fruit capsule, Jingtai Dianlan Soft concentrates on the tobacco blend itself. The formulation is tobacco-forward, with the naturally occurring sweetness, dry-leaf character and woody undertones associated with matured flue-cured leaf.
The Soft specification is rated at 9 mg tar and 0.9 mg nicotine, compared with 10 mg tar and 1.0 mg nicotine for the corresponding Jingtai Dianlan Hard variant.
